Roxx Revolt & The  Velvets

Performing at JD Hamel Park on May 9th, 7:10 pm

When solo artist Roxx Revolt met The Velvets, lightning struck and started a fire. From those raging flames and embers, Roxx Revolt & The Velvets was officially born.

With metal maestro Dan Heath on bass, a wizard on the guitar — Jake Shockley — and ear-splitting percussion, the daring Venezuela-born vocalist tied a ribbon and made her stage name their statement.

Each member’s individuality has molded RR&TV into what is nothing less than a supernova of glam rock, classic rock and roll and riotous punk. The group’s energy itself is where power and glamour meet. Being heavily influenced by groups like the Rolling Stones, Iggy and the Stooges, T.Rex and Black Sabbath, they roll their own way by creating a mix of genres they define as “glam-punk and roll.”

Roxx Revolt & The Velvets debuted at Florida non-profit Love Your Rebellion’s “Rock for Equality” benefit show in November of that year. Since then, they’ve been ripping through South Florida while also making plans to tour not only the rest of the state, but the country.

Their first single “King Revolt” was released September 2019, soon to be followed by their first EP “7” which will be available on all platforms January 7th 2020.

“Revolt she said, Revolt I give. Revolt, my friend, thats me.”
